1. = Before the draft begins, the new expansion teams will draw numbers to see who will pick first in round one.
2. A goal when the
League expands will be to have all expansion teams draft approximately an e=
qual
number of 14 year-olds as the existing teams. To start this draft, each
expansion team will draft one 14 year-old in the first round. After the fir=
st
round, teams (including existing teams) with the fewest number of 14 year-o=
lds
at the beginning of the round will pick in second=
round. This process will continue until all of the 14 year-olds players have
been drafted by a team. The draft order after the first round will be that =
the
returning teams will draft in their established order and then the expansion
teams will alternate picks.

3. When the 13 year=
-old
draft begins, it will be held as usual with the =
new
expansion teams following in behind the first place existing team (the have=
the
last pick in any round). The expansion team that drew last in the first rou=
nd
of the 14 year-old draft will draft directly after last year’s first
place team. The balance of the 13 year-old expansion teams will draft in
reverse order where they drafted in the first round of the 14 year-old draf=
t.
