All players who are currently not rostered on a League team must try
out. The League age is thirteen (13) to fourteen (14).
2) =
The Manager’s selection of players depends on the final overa=
ll
team standings (both
Divisions together) of the previous year, divisi=
on
games only.
3) =
One of the goals of the draft is to attempt to balance (as close as
possible) the number of 14 year-old players on each team. Prior to the draf=
t,
the President, the Vice-President, and the Player Agent shall review the nu=
mber
of returning players for each of the existing teams. If, in their opinion,
there is an imbalance in the number of returning players for teams, adjustm=
ents
can be recommended to the Board of Directors who must approve any adjustmen=
ts
to these rules. This adjustment can include the placing of a 14 year-old pl=
ayer
on a new or existing team, allowing teams short of 14 year -olds to draft
first, or an entire redraft. No players shall be moved from one team to ano=
ther
without consulting the manager of that team, the affected player, and their
parents.
4) =
The draft will start with the last team first, then continue in rev=
erse
order of the standings
to the first place team.=
American League and National Leagu=
e will
alternate picks.
5) =
A maximum of two (2) minutes will be given to each Manager for his
draft selection each
round
6) =
A manager’s option is a second (2nd) round pick.
7) =
Brothers/sisters of players on a present team will be committed bef=
ore
the draft and this will be a third (3rd) round draft choice.
8) =
If a team drafts with a brother/sister option, that child must be
committed at that time and
will be that teams pick five (5) rounds later.
9) =
Each team picks thru draft order until all players are picked.

roster prior to opening day.
